my vision

explore the universe, harness the stars, harvest the sun.

Vision is to translate solar irradiance into on‑demand electrical power by tightly coupling photogeneration and rapid charge storage. Photosupercapacitors integrate light capture and capacitive storage to deliver high-rate, durable, and easily integrated power, minimizing the temporal mismatch between intermittent supply and real-time demand.

I am currently located at the Materials Engineering and Energy (MATee) Laboratory, under the supervision of Maria de Fátima Montemor, Full Professor, IST. My PhD topic is photosupercapacitors. I am quite passionate about stellar energy technologies.
